Chrysoberyl Catseye
Chrysoberyl Catseye is a variety of the mineral, Chrysoberyl which exhibits an optic trait known as 'Chatoyancy', i.e., it reflects light in a way that resembles the slit eye of a cat, hence the name Catseye. They are usually found in shades of greenish lemon and lime, ranging from greenish-yellow to honey colour.
Alexandrite
Alexandrite is a very rare color-change variety of the Chrysoberyl family. It is well known for its dramatic color-changing properties. Green or blueish-green in daylight/fluorescent light to purplish-red and reddish brown hues in incandescent light; famously known as the Alexandrite effect and is highly prized by gemstone collectors.
Alexandrite Catseye
Alexandrite catseye is a rare and highly valuable variety of the mineral chrysoberyl that exhibits a distinct chatoyancy (cat's eye effect). Alexandrite command very high prices, especially for large, high quality specimens.
